Occo Coolers Telford comes to the rescue

When a company in Gloucester found a leak in a radiator on a cooler fitted to one of their ageing CNC lathes, they didn't think they would be able to find spare parts.

Paul Pulley, Managing Director of PF Engineering, found a label on the cooler which revealed it has been supplied by Oil Coolers and Compressors Ltd of Telford more than 25 years ago.

Unable to find a listing for the firm, Paul turned detective and a quick internet search revealed Occo Coolers Telford Ltd. Further investigation confirmed Occo was the direct descendant of Oil Coolers and Compressors Ltd.

When he contacted the company he was amazed to discover that not only did they still manufacture the Occo Mini Range SAE 6 but they had a plentiful stock of spares and that PF Engineering could collect the part it needed that day!

Occo Coolers Telford Sales Director Allan Cunningham said: "Paul was genuinely taken aback to find that not only do we still manufacture that cooler but that it is one of our most popular ranges.

"Because of this we keep a good range of spare parts so we can help our customers quickly - but if this is the first leak in this cooler for 25 years I don't suppose we'll be hearing from Paul soon!"
